This listing is for Black eyed Susan , the biggest bag in the collection.
I love the unique combination of brown/golds, mauve, black and just a bit of black and white all mixed together. I am so happy to use all the remnants and sometimes, tiny pieces of printed fabric from the studio.
She measures around:19x17.5x7.5
This bag has a brown , waxed canvas bottom and soft, unstructured sides. Fully lined in a white cotton with a tiny black dot.
Shoulder straps measuring around 23 inches and a tie option on the opposite sides as the handle to close the bag.
The Story:
I have been working on this collection with the goal of creating a zero-waste studio. There are a lot of leftover materials and scraps from making bags. These bags are all unique and made from printed or hand-painted fabric as well as cotton fabric from my collection.
Making these bags are very labor-intensive. They are all one of a kind.
I start by cutting the scraps into blocks or strips, then I sort and organize them by color. After a quick planning session, I sew the pieces together into strips, which are then sewn into pieces large enough to make a bag.
I hope you love them as much as I do
