This listing is for Allium
Allium is the bag that started this collection. The mauve, pink and dark blue pops are super vibrant.
She is the smallest tote in this collection and measures around: 12x15x5 ( fold out at the bottom)
This bag has a deep purple, waxed canvas bottom and soft, unstructured sides. Fully lined in a white cotton with a tiny black dot.
Straps are wrist or arm straps measuring around 17 inches and a tie option on the opposite sides as the handle to close the bag decorated with a deep merlot/purple yarn dyed cotton.
The Story:
I have been working on this collection with the goal of creating a zero-waste studio. There are a lot of leftover materials and scraps from making bags. These bags are all unique and made from printed or hand-painted fabric as well as cotton fabric from my collection.
Making these bags are very labor-intensive. They are all one of a kind.
I start by cutting the scraps into blocks or strips, then I sort and organize them by color. After a quick planning session, I sew the pieces together into strips, which are then sewn into pieces large enough to make a bag.
I hope you love them as much as I do
